Kendrick Catis brings veteran linebacker instincts and ball production to Murray State
Kendrick Catis is a seasoned Murray State linebacker with proven production, including 74 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, an interception, and three fumble recoveries in the 2018 season, plus 70 tackles at Highland CC in 2017 and 62 in 2016. He stands out for finishing plays, creating turnovers, and bringing JUCO-tested inside-linebacker range, which fits a defense that wants a reliable tackler with some playmaking juice. The main reason to care: he’s not just a stat collector—he’s the kind of physical, experienced defender who can stabilize the middle and make a coaching staff trust the headset a little more.
