UAB guard Richard Jones brings efficient scoring and steady backcourt production
Richard Jones is a 6-2 guard for UAB who has produced a modest but useful offensive role, averaging 5.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.8 assists on 40.0% shooting in ESPN’s current player stats. He profiles as a dependable rotation piece rather than a volume creator, with enough size to handle guard duties and a track record that includes a career-high 16-point game. If you want a low-drama, energy-conscious backcourt contributor who can fit without needing touches, Jones is the kind of guard worth tracking.
