Luke Fricker brings bullpen size, strike-throwing flashes, and upside to Mizzou
Fricker, a redshirt sophomore right-hander for Missouri in the 2026 season, arrived from Johnson County Community College after posting a 3-1 record, a 3.33 ERA, 28 strikeouts, and 15 walks over 24.1 innings there. His profile suggests a power-leaning, competitive arm with usable swing-and-miss ability, but his 2026 Missouri results show volatility and some strike-zone inconsistency, including a rough statistical line in limited action. He looks like a depth-and-upside fit: the kind of arm a staff can develop if it wants more size, toughness, and relief potential than polished certainty.
