a strike-throwing JUCO arm who gave High Point steady innings in 2026
In the 2026 season, Aidan Paul emerged as a reliable mid-rotation arm for High Point, finishing 3-1 with a 4.23 ERA over 38.1 innings while logging 35 strikeouts and just 6 home runs allowed. He drew positive notice for a low-90s fastball, consistent strike-throwing, and a sturdy 6-2/6-3 frame that gives him starter traits rather than pure bullpen-only vibes. He also earned Big South starting-pitcher mention in March 2026, which is a nice little “this guy is on the radar” flag for any staff looking for a competitive, durable right-hander.
