Rodney Gill brings size, backcourt depth, and a low-usage role for Southern Miss
Rodney Gill is a 6'3" senior guard for Southern Miss who profiles as a dependable depth piece rather than a high-volume scorer; in the 2024-25 season, ESPN lists him at 0.0 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game, and the Southern Miss roster notes he played in nine games for 31 total minutes. His value is in positional size, roster flexibility, and being ready for spot duty when called on, but there is limited public evidence of major offensive impact or standout box-score production, so he looks like more of a complementary fit than a lead-creation guard.[3][4]
