Tennessee State’s low-usage guard who adds depth and defensive value
Winfree’s current profile at Tennessee State is that of a deep-rotation guard rather than a high-volume scorer, with ESPN listing him at 0.0 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 0.0 assists per game in limited minutes during the 2025-26 season. That makes him more of a fit for a team needing structure, practice toughness, and perimeter depth than instant offense. The biggest unknown is offensive ceiling, but the upside is a role player who can stay within himself, compete defensively, and help stabilize the backcourt without demanding touches.
