Jayson Morgan entered Furman as a 6-foot-8, 250-pound freshman after a year on Virginia Tech’s football roster, giving the Paladins a rare blend of size, physicality, and a “lunch-pail” mentality that scouts love for rebounding, screen-setting, and rim pressure. In the 2024-25 season, he played limited minutes but flashed efficiency in spurts, finishing the year with 1.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. He looks like a developmental fit for teams needing rugged frontcourt depth, energy, and upside more than instant offense.
