Von Young remains a proven, physical linebacker for Missouri State
In the 2023 season, Von Young played in 10 games with 4 starts and finished with 42 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and a pass breakup, showing a disruptive edge as a downhill defender.[1] Earlier Missouri State coverage also noted that in the 2022 season he was second on the team with 66 total tackles, which points to real production, not just splash-play flash.[2] At 6-foot-0 and 218 pounds, he brings compact size, toughness, and proven run support; if your team wants an experienced, physical linebacker who can get after the backfield and handle volume, he’s the kind of guy who quietly makes offenses miserable.[1][2]
