a throwback linebacker with tackling juice and captain energy
Brandon Sturman is an old-school Valparaiso linebacker profile: he was a two-year captain, earned honorable mention All-Pioneer Football League recognition in 2005, and finished his career with 224 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions, and 2 blocked kicks in the 2005 season-era résumé. He stands out for physicality, instincts, and impact plays beyond the box score, which suggests a high-motor, tone-setting fit for a defense that values leadership and toughness.
