KJ Walker brings Portland State a physical, versatile defensive presence
KJ Walker is listed with Portland State football as a defensive back/safety and is noted in 2026 transaction coverage at 5'11", 205 pounds, a build that suggests he can play downhill and handle contact well[2]. Publicly available, current statistical production was not surfaced in the available sources, so the best read is that he profiles as a sturdy, adaptable defensive back rather than a purely coverage-first ball hawk[2]. If your team wants a safety with compact size, physicality, and flexibility in the secondary, Walker looks like the kind of piece that can fit a defense that values toughness over flash[2].
