Virginia Tech OL Mark Shuman: Massive, developmental tackle with pro-style frame
Mark Shuman is a long, powerful offensive lineman at 6-7 and around 300+ pounds who fits the mold of a developmental tackle: size, length, and the ability to grow into a physical run/pass protector. Virginia Tech listed him as an OT and 247Sports noted he worked at left tackle on the scout team while improving his mobility, which points to a player whose value starts with upside and coachability rather than flashy box-score production. He should appeal to teams that want a projectable, high-ceiling lineman with a pro-style body and room to polish technique.
