South Dakota DB D.J. Wakes offers size and depth upside in the secondary
D.J. Wakes is a **6-foot-2, 190-pound** defensive back on the South Dakota roster, giving the Coyotes a long, physical frame that can help in coverage and run support.[4] Publicly available recent game-log data is limited, so his current on-field impact is harder to quantify from stats alone, but his profile suggests a developmental piece with the kind of size coaches like for matching up against bigger receivers.[2][4]
