Tija Hawkins brings veteran rebounding, interior defense, and steady scoring to UTSA
Tija Hawkins is a seasoned UTSA forward whose game has long been defined by physicality, reliable inside scoring, and relentless defense. In her junior season, she averaged 11.6 points in 26.8 minutes, up from 7.5 points per game the year before, and she was praised for being hard to shoot over at 6-foot-1. Reliable coverage also described her as a leader who can anchor both ends with rebounding and toughness—exactly the kind of gritty, low-drama frontcourt piece coaches love.
