Corvelli Haynes brings SEC-sized edge as an upfield Ole Miss DE
Corvelli Haynes is a 6-3, 245-pound strong-side defensive end from Moorhead, Mississippi who has committed to Ole Miss, and the fit makes sense for a physical edge player with SEC length and mass.[4] ESPN lists him with 27 solo tackles, 3 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles, which points to a defender who can finish plays and create disruption rather than just occupy blocks.[6] Why care: he profiles as a high-motor, pressure-making edge who can add toughness and turnover juice; whether he’s a good fit depends on whether your scheme values power, pursuit, and development upside on the edge.[4][6]
