LSU-Alexandria adds 5'5" guard Sara Muneretto, a proven winner from Italy
Sara Muneretto arrives at LSU-Alexandria as a compact, competitive guard from Udine, Italy, with a résumé that includes U-17 and U-19 regional championships and a fourth-place Serie B finish with PLC Cussignacco in 2025. Her appeal is less about raw size and more about winning pedigree, guard toughness, and the kind of experience that can stabilize a backcourt. Based on the available team and recruiting information, she looks like a fit for a program valuing pace, composure, and high-IQ guard play rather than a stats-heavy headline maker.[2][1]
