Demontrie Taylor brings veteran DB versatility and special-teams value to Colorado State
Demontrie Taylor is a seasoned Colorado State defensive back whose value shows up in reliability, versatility, and a physical edge more than splashy box-score production. In his 2016 season, he played in five games, started one, and finished with six tackles and a fumble recovery, after appearing in 11 games as a freshman and building his résumé with special-teams work and steady defensive snaps. He looks like a tough, assignment-sound fit for a program that needs experienced depth and a player who can absorb coaching, compete hard, and help stabilize the back end.
