proven Sacramento State DB depth piece, but current impact is hard to verify
Melchor’s Sacramento State profile shows he previously contributed as a reserve in the defensive secondary and on special teams, which suggests positional versatility and willingness to do the dirty work. However, the available roster information is from the 2016 season and does not provide current-season production, so his present form, rankings, and recent development cannot be confirmed from these sources. If you want a low-drama, team-first defensive back with experience in multiple roles, he fits that mold; if you need verified current ball production, the public record here is thin.
