depth-chart QB with limited live-game tape
Matt Vincent’s Southern Illinois profile is more about promise than production right now: the roster notes he appeared in the 2024 season finale against Western Illinois but did not attempt a pass, so there isn’t meaningful statistical output to evaluate yet[3]. In 2026, Southern Illinois’ quarterback room also includes Jake Curry on the roster, which suggests Vincent is still fighting for snaps in a competitive depth chart[13]. For a team, the appeal is developmental upside and roster fit rather than proven game-day résumé—he’s a watch-list quarterback, not a finished product[3][13].
