Allen has been one of UC San Diego’s most valuable bats, hitting .301 with 7 home runs, 38 RBI, 55 hits and a team-best 14 doubles in 48 games, while also earning All-Big West Second Team honors. He opened 2026 as a preseason all-conference pick after a breakout 2025 in which he posted a .304 average with 14 homers and 53 RBI. The big differentiator: Allen brings middle-of-the-order pop plus gap power, and he proved he can carry a hot streak into conference play, winning Big West Player of the Week after a .588 start over a key stretch.
