Thacker Staley brings old-school linebacker toughness to Campbell
Thacker Staley is a physical, high-motor linebacker whose value is easy to miss if you only glance at the box score. Campbell’s roster history lists him at 6-foot, 200 pounds, and his prep résumé featured huge tackle production and a reputation for being everywhere, all the time—a classic signal of instinct and range. The differentiator here is effort plus versatility: he’s the kind of defender who fits a disciplined scheme, sets a tone, and can earn trust quickly if your team wants a reliable, downhill tackler with gritty character and no-nonsense instincts.
