Temple’s do-it-all guard who could score, rebound, and defend
In the 2002-03 season, Brian Polk was a versatile Temple guard who averaged 12.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, while shooting 41.9% from the field and 38.0% from three.[2][6][15] His best stretch came late that season, when he moved into the starting lineup and lifted his scoring to 18.2 points per game over the final 13 games, then averaged 22.3 points at the 2003 Atlantic 10 Tournament.[4] He stood out as a high-motor, two-way wing with real toughness and shot-making, making him the kind of player coaches love when they need production and edge.
