Aaron Williams brings proven tackling volume and backfield disruption to Akron’s linebacker group
In the 2025-26 season, Aaron Williams has been a productive linebacker for Akron, with ESPN listing 40 solo tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble, which points to a defender who can finish plays and create momentum-shifting stops.[2] He fits best as a fit-for-purpose, high-motor linebacker who adds toughness and disruptive flashes rather than just empty tackle counts, making him the kind of player coaches trust in physical, assignment-heavy roles.[2]
