Justin Battle is a veteran North Alabama righty trending upward out of the bullpen
In the 2026 season, Justin Battle has been a useful relief arm for North Alabama, working 42.2 innings with a 5.73 ERA and 27 strikeouts while helping the Lions in key late-game spots[9]. After a rougher 2023, he showed real adjustment in 2024 (4.44 ERA, 29 strikeouts in 26.1 innings) and delivered a strong postseason moment in 2024 by throwing four scoreless innings against Austin Peay[3][8]. What makes him intriguing is the mix of experience, resilience, and proven ability to handle leverage—less flashy than overpowering, but the kind of strike-throwing senior coaches trust when the game gets spicy[4][5].
