UAB Blazer's Veteran Forward with Proven Rebounding Grit
Michaelea Kleist, a battle-tested forward for the UAB Blazers, brings college-level experience from Eastern Kentucky and a stellar sophomore season at Volunteer State CC in 2010-11, where she averaged 11.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game—showcasing her relentless intensity, defensive tenacity, and blue-collar work ethic. High school all-district honors highlight her foundational rebounding prowess (7.1 rpg). Ideal for teams needing a tough, versatile big who thrives in gritty matchups, though her age and limited recent visibility suggest monitoring for current form.
