Speedy Tulane Corner With NFL-Caliber Versatility
Taurean Nixon was a 6-foot, 183-pound Tulane cornerback who stood out for his speed, special-teams value, and ability to win a starting spot early in camp, with Tulane noting he entered fall practice atop the depth chart in 2014. His college résumé included 61 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one interception, and a forced fumble, plus track speed that showed up in a 10.80 100-meter mark for Tulane in 2014. He fits teams that value aggressive, athletic DBs who can cover and contribute in the kicking game.
