Michael Giamartino brings a polished high-school resume, but he’s still an unknown at the college level
In the 2026 season, Michael Giamartino did not make an in-game appearance for Mount St. Mary’s, so the on-field sample is basically a blank slate right now. His appeal is the bat-and-body profile: a 5'10", 210-pound catcher with strong prep credentials, including 2025 Central New York Player of the Year and First-Team All-State honors, plus a proven ability to hit for average and power in high school. If you’re shopping for upside and a physical catcher who can develop, he’s worth monitoring; if you need an immediate college contributor, the jury is still out.
