Sam Falace is giving Siena a legit Friday-night lefty
In the 2026 season, Sam Falace has emerged as Siena’s go-to game-one starter, and the recent stretch is loud: over his last three outings he allowed just nine hits and two earned runs while striking out 17 across 17.1 innings, then followed that with a career-high seven-strikeout win over Manhattan. At 6'3" with a left-left profile and a big-frame look, he brings the kind of starter’s presence coaches love; Siena also described him as being “at full strength for the first time” after an injury-plagued start to his career, which makes the upside even more interesting.
