Haki Dennis brings veteran DB grit to NCCU’s secondary
Haki Dennis is a veteran North Carolina Central defensive back whose value has long been built on reliability, toughness, and assignment soundness rather than splashy stat lines. In the 2014 season, he appeared in eight games and totaled five tackles, including a season-high two assisted stops against Elizabeth City State[2][6]. That kind of profile usually translates to a player coaches trust in coverage, special situations, and depth-heavy rotations. He’s not the headline grabber, but he’s the kind of steady, experienced DB who can fit a disciplined defense and won’t blink when things get physical.
