Rising Kicker for Akron Zips with Elite Accuracy and Unmatched Intensity
T.J. Marchese, the new kicker (K) for the Akron Zips, is a data-driven standout with elite accuracy on field goals and kickoffs, differentiating himself through relentless intensity and a calm, competitive personality under pressure. Unlike his predecessor Garrison Smith (who entered the transfer portal after a hot 2024 start), Marchese brings fresh energy and no injury history, making him a perfect fit for teams needing reliability and mental toughness. In the 2025–26 spring season, he showed consistent range and precision, earning praise from coaches for his work ethic and game-day focus. Why care? He’s a high-upside, low-risk kicker with the intensity to elevate any team’s scoring game.
