Auburn utility bat Melania Luostari brings power, versatility, and a proven big-game pedigree
Luostari entered Auburn as a nationally ranked top-36 utility prospect in the 2025 class and earned a reputation in high school as a power hitter, posting a .620 average with 12 doubles, four triples, eight home runs, and 43 RBI in her junior season, plus a .513 club mark with 12 homers. Auburn and Wisconsin both describe her as tough, competitive, and versatile, and Wisconsin said she appeared in seven games as a freshman, mostly as a pinch hitter. She looks like a fit for teams that value right-handed pop, flexibility in the infield, and a player who can bring edge and energy in limited opportunities.
