Chasen Jones brings proven tackling production and a steady defensive floor to Columbia
Jones profiles as a reliable **safety** with a production-first game: across his documented collegiate stops, he has shown consistent tackling volume, with 74 total tackles at Wake Forest in 2023 and career defensive stats that include 82 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and an interception in ESPN’s career log. His value is in his range, willingness to support the run, and dependable week-to-week presence rather than flashy splash plays. For a team seeking a disciplined, assignment-sound defensive back who can stabilize the secondary, he looks like a solid fit.
