Big-Sky-sized upside, but still a mystery box in 2024-25
In the 2024-25 season, McKenzie was a true freshman/redshirted guard at Eastern Washington, so the on-court sample was tiny and the stat sheet doesn’t tell the whole story. What stands out is the profile: a long 6-3 to 6-5 combo guard with legit shooting touch, ability to get downhill, and a reputation from EWU’s staff as a high-character, two-way competitor who makes good decisions. If you need immediate production, he’s still a wait-and-see; if you want a developmental guard with real upside, he’s worth keeping on the radar.
