Haley Hart’s freshman breakout powered Louisiana’s infield
Haley Hart was a 2026 Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and D1Softball Second Team Freshman All-American for Louisiana, pairing a .364 average, 56 hits, 40 RBI and 9 home runs with steady run production from the infield.[1][2][3] Her best calling card is that she hit .365 against RPI 1-75 competition, which says her bat traveled well against quality arms, and she also drew notice for producing in big spots all season while earning regional and statewide honors.[2][3] If a team wants a polished, high-contact, middle-of-the-order type who already looks battle-tested, Hart fits the bill nicely.[1][2]
