Jackson State Tigers Guard with Untapped Potential?
Joseph Upchurch, guard for the Jackson State Tigers, remains a developing talent whose college trajectory is somewhat obscured by limited recent data, but his family legacy—linked to scoring phenom De'Andre Upchurch's 32-point career highs at New Haven (2017) and pro stints averaging 21.1 PPG in Czech NBL—hints at genetic scoring prowess and three-point shooting (Highland CC leader). Strengths include perimeter intensity and clutch play, making him a fit for teams needing fiery shooters; watch for breakout if he channels that intensity without injury setbacks. Why care? High-upside differentiator in a competitive backcourt.
