Kansas Jayhawks' 2010 Freshman LB Reserve
Steve Mestan, a freshman linebacker for the 2010 Kansas Jayhawks, appeared in 10 games primarily on special teams and as a backup, logging six total tackles including a three-tackle effort at Baylor; his limited but reliable role showcased hustle and tackling reliability amid a struggling 5-7 squad, making him a gritty, low-risk depth option for teams seeking special teams tenacity without starter expectations—perfect for developmental programs valuing hustle over flash.
