Tommy Donovan brings experience, touch, and comeback value to LIU’s quarterback room
Tommy Donovan is a seasoned LIU quarterback whose profile is built on experience, poise, and prior playmaking flashes rather than raw hype: he appeared in games for LIU in 2018 and 2019, and his LIU/LIU Post background includes a school-record 306-yard passing game and 1,628 career passing yards with 16 touchdowns in high school. He’s the kind of QB fit coaches like when they want a steady, familiar hand who has already shown he can produce and handle adversity after an injury-shortened 2019 season.
