FDU’s strike-throwing sophomore with sneaky upside
In the 2026 season, Neylin Navarro gave Fairleigh Dickinson a useful starting look in a small sample: 5 appearances, 4 starts, a 5.40 ERA, 15.0 innings, and 16 strikeouts, while opening his FDU career with a scoreless outing and later tossing three scoreless extra-inning frames at NJIT. The appeal is the arm-side package: he was ranked the 38th-best pitcher in New Jersey by Perfect Game and showed enough poise to work in leverage spots, but his ceiling depends on sharper command and more consistent strike quality. Good fit if you want a compact righty with moxie and room to grow.
