Gardner-Webb kicker Hunter Smith brings steady, roster-ready special teams value
Hunter Smith is a **senior kicker** at Gardner-Webb, listed at 5-9 and 161 pounds, and profiles as a dependable special-teams piece rather than a flashy stat-padding option. Gardner-Webb’s roster page identifies him as an experienced upperclassman, which matters at kicker because consistency, poise, and repeatability often matter more than volume. He’s the kind of player teams want if they value a composed, low-drama specialist who can handle pressure kicks and stabilize field-position decisions.
