Nick Macias brings versatile, explosive upside at WR for Southern Utah
Macias is a multi-sport, multi-position athlete whose calling card is versatility and explosive athleticism, with Southern Utah listing him as a wide receiver after a high school career that also featured defensive back and linebacker responsibilities. He appeared in three games in Fall 2023, suggesting he was still in the early stages of carving out a role at the college level. What makes him interesting is the blend of size-less but gritty playmaking potential and broad athletic background, which can fit programs looking for developmental upside rather than an immediate polished volume receiver.
