Elijah Smith brings veteran receiver savvy and special-teams value to Norfolk State
In the 2025 season, Elijah Smith gave Norfolk State useful depth at wide receiver while also chipping in on special teams, including an 8-yard punt return against Delaware State. He has a 6-foot-1 frame, a track record of all-district honors in high school, and the kind of background that suggests he can help in multiple phases rather than just as a pure target. The fit is best for a team that values versatility, maturity, and effort over flashy production.
