A.J. Hill brings dual-threat juice to Southern Illinois’ QB room
A.J. Hill stands out as a dual-threat quarterback whose value goes beyond raw passing numbers: recent SIU coverage and 2026 season discussion point to a runner with school-record-level production on the ground for a quarterback, plus enough passing pop to keep defenses honest. He fits a team that wants a playmaker who can stress the edge, extend drives, and create offense when structure breaks down. The key question is consistency and durability in a full-time lead role, but his explosiveness and big-play versatility make him a clear fit for an offense built around stress and space.
