Daquan Evans brings proven ball production and veteran savvy to USF’s secondary
Evans is a reliable, experienced **playmaker** at defensive back for South Florida, known for turning defense into offense—he finished his USF career with **five interceptions** and a school-record **224 interception return yards**.[2][7] At **5-foot-11, 190 pounds**, he combines solid size with proven turnover production and a reputation for disruptive, high-energy coverage that helped him earn AAC Defensive Player of the Week honors in 2023.[1][9] He looks like a fit for teams that value instincts, ball skills, and a veteran presence more than flashy measurables.[2][9]
