Young, compact EDGE with room to climb
Matthew Joseph III is listed as a 5'11", 265-pound defensive lineman from Vinton, Louisiana, and as a freshman/junior-status depth piece for Southeastern Louisiana, he profiles as a developmental edge defender with a sturdy build and local familiarity. His best selling point is fit: if you want a compact, lower-center-of-gravity DE who can bring leverage and energy, he checks that box. Public stat pages do not show meaningful 2023 season production yet, so this is more of a traits-and-upside play than a proven-stat-leader acquisition.
