Wake Forest CB Bud Noel: NFL-caliber ball skills, but he’s long since moved on from college
Bud Noel was a Wake Forest cornerback known for his playmaking in space, including a strong senior year that earned him an all-star invite and a standout showing with four tackles and two pass breakups in the Medal of Honor Bowl. Wake Forest listed him as a starter who produced as a disciplined, competitive defensive back, while later pro coverage identified him as a former Bills cornerback rather than an active college player. If you’re evaluating him for a current college roster fit, the key takeaway is that his profile is built on instincts, coverage competitiveness, and ball disruption—not raw size or flash.
