Noah Smith brings linebacker depth and athletic upside to Southern Utah
Noah Smith is listed as a freshman linebacker for Southern Utah at 6'2", 205 lbs, giving the Thunderbirds a lean, athletic defender with room to grow into a more disruptive all-around piece. The clearest appeal is his upside: he’s young, versatile, and profile-wise looks built for range and pursuit rather than just bulk. Publicly available stat detail is limited right now, so the real story is projection — if he translates that frame and energy into consistent tackling and coverage work, he could become a useful fit for a defense that values speed at linebacker.
