veteran USF forward with a polished mid-range game and defensive upside
Aleshia Flowers was a 6-1 forward recruit for South Florida whose profile centered on a strong mid-range touch, defensive ability, and room to grow; USF’s coaching staff described her as having “a lot of room to grow,” “a great mid-range game,” and “tremendous upside” with the ability to defend in their league.[4] In USF’s historical roster notes, she appeared in 11 games as a senior in the 2012-13 season, shooting .677 from the field while contributing six points and eight rebounds, after earlier seasons that were mostly low-usage bench minutes.[1] She looks like the kind of frontcourt player who fits a team needing effort, length, and clean offense around the basket rather than high-volume scoring.[1][4]
