Live-Arm Coug RHP with Room to Grow
In the 2026 season, Dillon O'Neil has flashed as a developing right-hander for Washington State, but the early stat line shows growing pains: across 5.1 innings, he recorded 6 strikeouts, 4 walks, and a 15.19 ERA. What makes him intriguing is the profile—he’s a 5-10 sophomore with a left-handed bat/right-handed arm combo and multi-sport toughness from San Marcos, which often hints at competitiveness and athletic feel. He looks more like a developmental fit than an instant answer right now, but the arm talent and upside are worth monitoring.
