Savannah State DB Takeyion Simmons is on the roster and part of the Tigers’ secondary mix
Takeyion Simmons is listed as a defensive back for Savannah State, which means he’s in the mix to help a Tigers defense that has leaned on depth and rotation in the back end during the 2025 season. Publicly available team pages do not show current individual stats for him, so the best signal here is roster status rather than a stat line. If you’re looking for a DB with special-teams value, positional versatility, and a chance to climb the depth chart, Simmons is worth monitoring; if you need verified production, the public data is still thin.
