a steadies-the-ship center with veteran command
Alex Linnenkohl stood out at Oregon State as a durable, high-IQ center who started 38 straight games and earned second-team All-Pac-10 honors in 2010, showing the kind of line-call command and communication skills that don’t always show up in box scores. He was also respected enough to be a team captain in 2010, and analysts ranked him among the better centers in the 2011 draft conversation. If you value poise, leadership, and a center who can run the front like a traffic cop, he’s your guy.
