Furman Punter Trent Hawk: Reliable Leg with Elite Hang Time Potential
Trent Hawk stands out as Furman's steady punter with 93 career punts averaging 39.8 yards and a 70-yard long, delivering consistent field position control for the Paladins[1][2]. His strengths lie in hang time that lets coverage units excel, minimizing returns without gaudy inside-20 stats listed, ideal for FCS teams valuing possession. No notable injury history, high-motor reliability, and a gritty competitor vibe from high school QB roots make him a low-risk transfer or camp invite—perfect fit for teams needing dependable special teams without NFL upside drama.
